La Bolsa is a town in northern Uruguay .

It is located in the southeastern part of the Artigas department . A few kilometers north-northeast is Rincón de Pacheco , to the west Paso Campamento is the closest town.
Natural resources
Agate and amethyst are found at La Bolsa .
Residents
La Bolsa has 16 inhabitants, nine of them men and seven women (as of 2011). In the previous censuses from 1963 to 2004, no statistical data was collected for the location.
