La Grande de Madrid is a Spanish salsa band .

Career

The singer of the group La Grande de Madrid is Carlos Nuño, who introduced the group to his singing, which is strongly reminiscent of Julio Iglesias . There are also parallels to the famous Spanish singer in the lyrics. Carlos Nuño (born in Valencia / Spain) recorded more than 15 albums during his musical career. In 1993 he achieved international success with his salsa production “La Grande de Madrid”. Around one million records have now been sold. With "Corazon Embustero", "Una Gaviota En Madrid", "Que Yo Me Voy P'alla", "Me Va" and "La Puerta de Alcalá" they had their greatest musical successes.
