La Lune was a satirical magazine published in Paris from 1865 to 1868 and edited by François Polo . André Gill was the magazine's leading caricaturist.

The magazine appeared with a cover cartoon in folio format. The booklet cost 10 centimes and had a print run of around 24,000 copies; up to 40,000 copies of individual issues were printed.

The successor L'Éclipse (= lunar eclipse ) appeared from 1868 to 1876 and as La Lune rousse (= red moon ) until 1879.
