La Pared de los Moros (German: The Wall of the Moors ) was a Roman gravity dam in the province of Teruel in Aragon ( Spain ) from the 3rd century AD.

The dam was 68 meters long and dammed the Farlán , a tributary of the Río Aguasvivas . The gravity dam, which was up to 8.40 m high, had a base width of 2.7 m. It is an extremely slim wall for its design. This led to the assumption that the dam might have been reinforced with earth. However, this assumption could not be confirmed archaeologically. The wall consists of two outer layers of lime mortar (opus incaertum) and a 70 cm thick core made of Roman concrete ( opus caementitium ). The water accumulated in this way was used for irrigation . The dam wall has been preserved as a ruin, in the middle the flowing water has cut to below the base and torn away the middle part of the wall.
