Lactantius Placidus

Lactantius Placidus was the editor or author of a late antique Latin commentary on the epic Thebais by Statius . Nothing else is known about his life; he probably lived in the first half of the 5th century . Various other writings, including the Placidus glosses and the Narrationes fabularum (from Ovid ), were ascribed to him.
