The Lacus Veris ( Latin for "Spring Lake") is a small mare on the Earth's moon , which measures approximately 396 km. It was named in 1970 and is located at 16 ° 30 'S / 86 ° 06' W. The Lacus Veris and the neighboring Lacus Autumni lie between two mountain ranges - the Montes Cordillera and the Montes Rook .
