Location class

The term location class relates to the valuation of real estate in Switzerland with regard to the following criteria:

• Tanning especially in residential buildings; Distance to natural facilities such as recreation areas, green spaces, forests or bodies of water
• Location within an urban housing estate (simple residential buildings, upscale residential options, villas)
• Connection to public transport or the road network
• Existing educational institutions and their shortest availability
• Existing retailers, small businesses etc. and their distance / accessibility

The rating ranges from 1 for the minimum to 8 for the maximum.
