Camp (geology)

As bearing plate-shaped mineral deposits of different sizes are called. Their two-dimensional extent is less than that of seams , while they are usually very thick .

Bearings can be created very differently. The well-known polymetallic camps of the Rammelsberg ( old and new camps ), for example, are of submarine-exhalative origin, while the pebbles of the Elbingeröder complex ( Drei Kronen & Ehrt ) are of hydrothermal origin.
