The warehouse of the Hubbe & Farenholtz oil mill is a listed warehouse in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt . It belongs to the complex of the former Hubbe & Farenholtz oil mill .

location

It is located on the east side of Paul-Ecke-Straße in the Magdeburg district of Brückfeld . Originally the warehouse, like the entire mill, had the address Berliner Chaussee 66 .

Architecture and history

The spacious hall was built in 1939 by the Christoph & Unmack company and was part of the premises of the United Oil Works Hubbe and Farenholtz. The result was a structure, described as impressive, in a timber frame construction with a three -hinged frame . The roof is designed as a flat gable roof .

In later times the hall was shortened and the outer walls removed. The remaining facility is now used as a shelter ,

The hall is regarded as a well-preserved example of structural timber construction from the construction period and is also an important economic and historical testimony for the food industry in Magdeburg.

In the local register of monuments , the camp is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81847 .
