Lagoa do Styx ( Portuguese for " Styx Lake") is an underground crater lake in the Furna do Enxofre cave in the Caldeira of the Portuguese Azores island of Graciosa , which belongs to the Santa Cruz da Graciosa district. The lake is below sea level and is filled with warm, sulphurous water. It is 15 m deep and has a diameter of about 120 m. The lake used to be a bit larger with a diameter of 150 m.
