Laing O'Rourke is a UK construction company . Founded in 1978 by Ray O'Rourke, the company is now the largest private construction company in Great Britain. In 2011 O'Rourke took over Laing Construction from John Laing plc for a symbolic pound.
At the end of 2015, CEO Anna Stewart resigned unexpectedly.
