Lake Harris is a lake in the West Coast region on the South Island of New Zealand . It is located in Mount Aspiring National Park in the Humboldt Mountains . The lake has a tributary from Lake Wilson, about 2 km to the north . Its outflow is Route Burn , which is a tributary of the Dart River .
The lake is located in a basin between Mount Xenicus (1912 m) in the east and Ocean Peak (1848 m) in the south.
The Roeburn Track near the southwest side of the lake. The area of the lake is uninhabited, the nearest settlement is Hollyford , about 3 miles southwest.
