Lake Heron is a lake on the South Island of New Zealand . It is fed by the Swin River and drained by the Lake Stream , which in turn flows into the Rakaia River . In the north, the 1,238-meter-high Mt Sugarloaf slides into the lake, which surrounds it with two foothills.
