Lamin Darboe (Governor)

Lamin Darboe (* 20th century in Soma ) is a Gambian administrative officer.

Life

Darboe graduated from the University of York in the United Kingdom, where he received his Masters in Public Administration and International Development .

From 2007 to 2008 Darboe was deputy governor of the Lower River Region (LRR) and in 2009 also deputy governor of the Central River Region (CRR). Then, starting February 2011, Darboe served as the Principal Assistant Secretary at the Judiciary . On April 17, 2012, he was appointed governor of the Lower River Region to succeed Lamin Waa Juwara . Juwara was appointed Minister of Local Government and Lands .

In October 2013, Darboe was removed from his post as governor.
