Land mobility

Land mobility is a military term and describes the movement of soldiers and equipment on land. This can be done on foot ( march ), with military animals or, above all, with land vehicles . A high level of land mobility is understood to mean the rapid deployment of troops.

Land mobility is crucial in conventional wars in order to be able to react quickly to military situations (attack / retreat). It can be decisive for the outcome of wars.

The same meaning in the air is called air mobility .
