Paolo Fornaciari
Paolo Fornaciari (born February 2, 1971 in Viareggio , Italy ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Fornaciari began his professional career in 1993 with the Mercatone Uno-Zucchini team , where he rode as a stagiaire (cycling) the previous autumn . For this team he won a stage of the Herald Sun Tour in 1994 . After three years at Mercatone, he moved to Saeco , where he drove for three years. He then went to Mapei-Quick Step for the 1999 season . He stayed there until 2002 and drove again for Saeco from the 2003 season. From 2005 to 2008 he drove for Lampre . During his career, he completed eleven major country tours .
