State office for the regulation of open property issues

The State Office for the Regulation of Unresolved Property Issues (LARoV) is an authority in Germany at the level of the federal states. It is subordinate to the financial administration and is the supervisory authority for the offices located in the districts and urban districts for the regulation of open property issues .

Their tasks include making decisions about the return or compensation in accordance with the Property Act due to expropriations in the Soviet occupation zone and in the GDR .
