The regional council election in the Saar region in 1928 was the third election to the regional council of the Saar region . It took place on March 25, 1928 .
Result
The turnout was 66.1 percent. The center party of the Saar area remained the strongest party and did not achieve an absolute majority despite the gains in votes. The Communist Party of the Saar region left the Social Democratic Party of the Saar region behind for the first time; the German-Saarland People's Party lost its double digits.
