The district court of Weiler was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1806 to 1879 and was based in Weiler in today's Lindau district in Bavaria . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

As part of Vorarlberg , Weiler was ceded by Austria to the Kingdom of Bavaria in March 1806 after the Peace of Pressburg . In 1808, the district court of Weiler was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . This came first to the Illerkreis and then to the Oberdonaukreis . Even after Vorarlberg was returned to Austria, the area remained with Bavaria. The district court was replaced in 1879 by the district court of Weiler-Lindenberg .
