The Landrat-Lucas-Weg is a 24-kilometer district hiking trail in the Bergisches Land . It leads from Leverkusen - Opladen via Leichlingen to Solingen - Burg an der Wupper .

The hiking trail was created at the end of the 1930s by the Bergisches Land district of the Sauerland Mountain Association and was run there as District Hiking Trail 5. Until 2003 the path had the sign >, then it was re-marked as ◇ 5.

The hiking trail is named after Adolf Lucas , a former district administrator in the district of Solingen, to which Opladen used to belong. Lucas had moved the seat of the district to Opladen in 1914.
