Landscape master plan

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The landscape framework plan ( LRP for short ) is the implementation of landscape planning on a regional level. This results in a target-oriented recording and evaluation of the existing protected assets . The legal bases are the respective state nature conservation laws . The most important basis for setting up an LRP is a previously carried out, area-wide biotope type mapping . The main focus in the LRP is on cartographic representation. The planning period used is usually 10 to 15 years.

As a rule, there is extensive public participation through the publication of the results and the involvement of the authorities and associations concerned. For a few years now, a strategic environmental assessment has been carried out in advance through corresponding EU regulations.
