The landscape protection area Areal near the castle Hinte is a landscape protection area in the district of Aurich in the state of Lower Saxony . It lies entirely in the territory of the municipality of Hinte and has the number LSG AUR 00018.
Description of the area
The protected landscape area, designated in 1965, covers an area of 0.1 square kilometers and is located south of Osterhuserstrasse and west of Brückstrasse. The landscape protection area borders directly on Hinta Castle and is characterized by small wood structures, various ditches, wet grassland, fallow land and arable land as well as a stretch of water from the Knockster Tief .
Protection purpose
The general protective purpose is the "preservation of varied green structures within the settlement area of the village of Hinte with an impact on the landscape or townscape, the highlighting of historically grown structures (castle, church and Gulfhof complex) with local history, the recreational function, the safeguarding of rare old trees, the Securing a retreat and regeneration area for adapted species and communities within village settlements ”.
