The nature reserve Attendorn-Heggen-Helden, type B with 326.44  hectares is located in the Olpe district . It was designated in 2006 by the district council of the district of Olpe as a landscape protection area (LSG) of type B (special landscape protection: "Protection of the meadow valleys") with the landscape plan No. 2 Elsper Senke-Lennebergland . The LSG is located in the Attendorn and Finnentrop area . The LSG extends to the outskirts of the settlement.

Protection purpose

Legal regulations

In the landscape protection area, among other things, the erection of structures and the drainage of groundwater, even when waterlogged, are prohibited.

Initial afforestation and the new planting of Christmas tree cultures, ornamental twigs and tree nursery cultures are subject to official approval from the Lower Nature Conservation Authority .
