The landscape protection area Gerlinger Grund with an area of ​​175  ha is located in the municipality of Ense in the district of Soest . The area was designated as a landscape protection area (LSG) by the district council in 2006 with the landscape plan V Ense-Wickede . The LSG is located northeast of Bremen . In the north, the federal motorway 44 runs just outside the LSG and the landscape protection area in the Soest district is adjacent.

The LSG includes a well-developed Schleddental. There are forest, grassland and fields in the LSG.

Protection purpose

As with other LSGs, the designation was carried out in the landscape plan area to maintain or restore the efficiency of the natural balance; because of the diversity, uniqueness or beauty of the landscape or because of its special importance for recreation.

Legal regulations

As in the other landscape protection areas in the landscape planning area, the LSG prohibits the construction of structures. The Lower Nature Conservation Authority can issue special permits for buildings of all kinds. As in the other landscape protection areas, the LSG prohibits the creation of Christmas trees , ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures . It is Z. B. also forbidden to remove or damage trees, bushes, hedges, field or riparian trees.
