The landscape protection area outskirts near Nettelstädt with an area of ​​23.46  hectares is located in the town of Rüthen in the Soest district . The area was designated as a landscape protection area (LSG) by the district council in 1997 with the landscape plan II Erwitte / Anröchte . The LSG is north of Nettelstädt . The LSG borders directly on the settlement area.

Protection purpose

As with other LSGs, the designation was carried out in the landscape plan area to maintain or restore the efficiency of the natural balance; because of the diversity, uniqueness or beauty of the landscape or because of its special importance for recreation.

Legal regulations

As in the other landscape protection areas in the landscape planning area, the LSG prohibits the construction of structures. The Lower Nature Conservation Authority can issue exceptional permits for buildings of all kinds. As in the other landscape protection areas, the LSG prohibits the creation of Christmas trees , ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures . It is also forbidden to remove or damage trees, bushes, hedges, field or riparian trees. Furthermore, no grassland, fallow grassland or eastern pastures may be converted.
