The landscape protection area agricultural areas along the Hoinkhauser Bachtal with 365.28  hectares is located in the town of Rüthen in the Soest district . The area was designated as a landscape protection area (LSG) by the district council in 1997 with the landscape plan II Erwitte / Anröchte . The LSG is located south of Hoinkhausen . The LSG borders directly on the settlement area. The nature reserve valley system of the Pöppelsche with Hoinkhauser Bach divides the LSG into three parts.

The LSG comprises smaller forest areas and open land areas with grassland and arable land. The Hoinkhauser Bach flows in the nature reserve valley system of the Pöppelsche with Hoinkhauser Bach .

Protection purpose

As with other LSGs, the designation was carried out in the landscape plan area to maintain or restore the efficiency of the natural balance; because of the diversity, uniqueness or beauty of the landscape or because of its special importance for recreation.

Legal regulations

As in the other landscape protection areas in the landscape planning area, the LSG prohibits the construction of structures. The Lower Nature Conservation Authority can issue exceptional permits for buildings of all kinds. As in the other landscape protection areas, there is a prohibition in the LSG to plant Christmas trees , ornamental branches and tree nurseries . It is also forbidden to remove or damage trees, bushes, hedges, field or riparian wood.
