The landscape protection area Heavily structured Feldflur north of Enkhausen with an area of ​​36.3  hectares lies in the urban area of Sundern and in the Hochsauerlandkreis . The area was designated in 1993 with the Sundern landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis as a landscape conservation area (LSG) with an area of ​​48.96 hectares. When the Sundern landscape plan was reorganized, the LSG was shown again and significantly reduced in size. The LSG is located north of Enkhausen and borders directly on the edge of the settlement in the south. The LSG is part of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge nature park . The LSG includes grassland and arable land. Along the farm roads and along the forest edges bordering on the definition, the LSG is conspicuously chambered and bounded by hedges and stepped hardwood forest edges.

Protection purpose

The expulsion took place u. a. to ensure the diversity and uniqueness of the landscape in the immediate vicinity of the locality and in old agricultural priority areas, in particular by keeping them open; Preservation of the efficiency of the ecosystem with regard to its species spectrum and the usability of natural resources.

The landscape plan lists a special protection purpose: "In addition to protecting the open spaces, the definition also expressly serves to preserve the hardwood structures and their borders."

Legal regulations

As in the other type B landscape protection areas in the urban area, the LSG prohibits the construction of structures. Construction projects for horticulture, agriculture and forestry are exempt from the ban. The Lower Nature Conservation Authority can issue exceptional permits for buildings of all kinds. As in the other type B landscape protection areas in Sundern, the LSG prohibits first afforestation and the creation of Christmas trees , ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures .

As for all landscape protection areas of type B in the landscape plan area, the requirement was issued to keep the area free of forest through agricultural use or through suitable maintenance measures.
