The landscape protection area Wall in Uttel is a landscape protection area in the district of Wittmund in the state of Lower Saxony . It bears the number LSG WTM 00004. As the lower nature conservation authority, the district of Wittmund is responsible for the area.
Description of the area
The protected landscape area, designated in 1941, covers an area of 0.01 square kilometers, which extends between Hattersumer Straße and Hattersumer Leide.
Protection purpose
The general purpose of protection is the "protection of an abandoned path with double-sided wooded walls from damage and disfigurement". This will by repelling any use and adequate fencing of the county hedgerows within the adjacent farmland. In addition, the district proposes a protection as a protected landscape component in order to ensure the protection sufficiently.
