Wellingsetal landscape protection area

The Wellingsetal landscape protection area with 51.5 hectares is located in the Märkisches Kreis in the area of the town of Balve . It was designated for the first time in 1989 by the district council of the Märkischer Kreis with the landscape plan Balve - Mittleres Hönnetal as a landscape protection area (LSG) of type B (special landscape protection) with the name landscape protection area Wellingsetal southwest Kesberg . In 2015, with the 2nd amendment to landscape plan No. 2 Balve-Mitteleres-Hönnetal, it was again designated. The LSG is located south of Langenholthausen . The LSG goes to the edge of the settlement.

Protection purpose
