Agricultural benchmark

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The agricultural comparability index (LTR) describes the approximate agricultural or horticultural profitability of a farm on the basis of the adopted on 16 October 1934 Law on the Evaluation of the farming region .

The calculation of the LVZ includes factors such as:

  • Soil fertility ( soil points )
  • general soil conditions
  • Soil quality
  • climatic conditions
  • Watering the soil
  • use
  • Company size
  • Removal of the surfaces from the company headquarters

This system enables the most objective possible assessment, as well as a sufficiently good comparability between different companies.

The LVZ is also included in subsidies for agricultural operations.
