Langdon Park is a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets . It is in the Travelcard tariff zone 2 between Carmen Street and Hay Currie Street in the Poplar district .

Since the Docklands Light Railway was planned in the mid-1980s, two more stations were planned to be built on the line between Poplar and Stratford . One was Carmen Street (later renamed after a neighboring school in Langdon Park) and the other was Pudding Mill Lane . The first projects for Langdon Park station were presented in 2000, but then dropped again due to lack of money. In June 2005, Docklands Light Railway Limited reassessed and received construction permit six months later. Construction began on November 17, 2006, and the opening took place on December 9, 2007.

During the heyday of Docklands , the North London Railway's South Bromley station was 150 meters north . The station, which opened on September 1, 1884, had to be closed on May 15, 1944, when the route had become impassable after numerous air raids by the German air force .
