The Long Table is an event in Wuppertal that is held every five years for the city's birthday.

The citizens of Wuppertal, companies and associations are called upon to put their tables out and thus form a long table from the Vohwinkel district in the west to Oberbarmen in the east. In addition to food and drinks, a varied program is also offered. Small stages have been set up at numerous popular locations and street performers are out and about on the 14-kilometer mile. The 2009 event was attended by around 320,000 people. In addition, 600 groups were registered in 2009, 580 snack and beverage stands were set up and 87 stages were set up. The long table in 2019 was attended by around 200,000 guests and had 200 stands and twelve stages.

The first Lange Tisch was organized in 1989 for the 60th anniversary of the city of Wuppertal and was initially planned as a one-off event. Since then, however, it has taken place regularly. The Long Table 2014 was held on June 28 and 2019 on June 29.
