Langholz (Waabs)

The village of Langholz ( Danish : Langskov or Langholt ) is located on the northern bank of the Eckernförde Bay and belongs to the municipality of Waabs . It has only a few permanent residents and is characterized primarily as a holiday resort. Langholz was mentioned as Langholt in 1652 and means something like long wood . The coastal spur near Langholz is called Langhoved in Danish.
