Lansing Ishii Agreement

The Lansing Ishii Agreement ( English Lansing Ishii Agreement ; Japanese j ・ ラ ン シ ン グ 協定 , Ishii Ranshingu kyōtei ) was passed on November 2, 1917 between the Japanese Empire and the United States of America . The negotiators of both nations were the former Japanese Foreign Minister Ishii Kikujirō and the US Secretary of State Robert Lansing . With the conclusion of this agreement, the two Pacific powers agreed on their interests in China .
