Lao Badminton Federation

The Lao Badminton Federation (LBF) is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Laos .

history

The Lao Badminton Federation was founded in February 1955 as the Association de Badminton du Royaume de Laos . In June 1966 the association became a member of the world association IBF and later also a member of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Asia Confederation , at that time still operating under the name Asian Badminton Confederation . The association is based in Vientiane . He is a member of the National Olympic Committee.
