Lapan Space Center

The Lapan Space Center is a rocket launch site in the Indonesian province of Jawa Barat , near Pameungpeuk .
On August 7, 11 and 17, 1965, three Kappa 8 rockets were launched from the rocket launch base on behalf of the Japanese Institute for Space Research ISAS .
Indonesian sounding rockets of the types RX-250 , RX-320 and RX-420 were launched from the center between 1987 and 2009 .
