Larry (music compilation)

Larry was a series of music samplers with current titles from the music charts and was released between 1987 and 1995 at irregular intervals as long-playing records, music cassettes and CDs. The mascot was the cartoon character Larry, a rat who had a regular one-page strip in the youth magazine Bravo . The first album was released as a double LP and CD on the record label CBS . The actual series "Larry Presents" was published from 1989 onwards. From 1990 the publication took place on Sony Columbia. From 1991 to 1994 an issue of the sub-series "Party Rock" was published each year. In 2004, almost 10 years after the series was discontinued, a DVD with music videos was released. Some titles achieved high placements in the Swiss compilation charts, once even the top position.
