The beach Playa de Las Teresitas is located in the northeast of the to Spain belonging Canary Island of Tenerife , north of the village of San Andrés .

The almost two kilometer long beach on the Atlantic consists of three parts: Tras la Arena, Los Moros and Las Teresas. In 1973, white sand that had been procured in the Sahara was laid on top of the original black sand of volcanic origin . A breakwater about 1000 meters long protects against erosion. To the north of the beach is the Anaga Mountains .
