The Las Vegas City Hall

The Las Vegas City Hall is the seat of the Municipality of Las Vegas (Nevada) .

The ten-story, 49.64-meter-high building was completed in 1973 and is a typical example of the modernist style of the 1960s. The wedge-shaped, marble-clad main building is preceded by a three-story, circular wing that surrounds an open plaza . In 2002, an extension was added, with additional office space and a parking garage, which is connected to the Las Vegas City Hall via a skyway . The following year, this new structure won an award from the American Institute of Architects, Nevada Section.

The construction of a new city administration began in 2010 and is due to be completed in 2012.
