SkyWay is a group of companies dedicated to the development and construction of new overhead conveyors busy. The technology is still in development, the company is in the financing phase. The SkyWay technology is known as "rope traffic": Driverless vehicles are moved on cordless tracks that are suspended between concrete supports above the ground. SkyWay was developed for the transport of people and goods. Unitsky claims that his vehicles can reach speeds of up to 500 kilometers per hour and are 20 percent cheaper than an ordinary subway. The technology guarantees minimal gas and particle emissions. SkyWay claims its vehicles can travel safely at 2-second intervals, allowing for passenger flows of up to 50,000 people per hour.
SkyWay is conducting contract negotiations with regions and institutions in Slovakia , Indonesia , Italy and the United Arab Emirates .
history
Anatoli Unitsky is the inventor of SkyWay technology and the founder, director and major shareholder of the SkyWay group of companies. In 1980 he developed the technology as a passenger and goods capsule system for cable car traffic.
In 2001 a prototype of the SkyWay railway was built in the Russian village of Ozyory in Moscow Oblast . There the permissible load capacity of the railway was checked with a truck with iron wheels. This construction site was later dismantled.
In October 2015, SkyWay started construction of the EcoTechnoPark proving ground in Maryina Gorka (approx. 70 km from Minsk ), where the SkyWay technology was to be demonstrated. In a 2017 promotional video, SkyWay claims that a prototype reached a speed of 102 km / h. Three prototypes were shown there at the Eco-Fest in August 2018: a train with a passenger capacity of 48 people, a fourteen-seat and a six-seat train.

In addition to the demonstration models in the EcoTechnoPark in Belarus, the company presented its technologies at exhibitions such as the third congress and the international transport exhibition in Singapore SITCE.
SkyWay is looking for potential investors around the world. After being banned from selling shares in several countries, the company is increasingly turning to lower-threshold channels such as crowdfunding , telephone sales , telemarketing and network marketing .
criticism
Critics question the seriousness of the company. Announced projects were never realized. The magnetic levitation train presented as innovative is actually a monorail train pulled on ropes .
In 2019, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority prohibited the public offering of investments in Germany because Sky Way Capital Inc. did not publish any mandatory information under the Asset Investment Act . The tax authorities of other countries have warned investors against buying shares in the company. T. declared illegal.
