Latin America Forum Berlin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Latin America Forum Berlin / Foro de las Américas e. V. (LAF) is a non-partisan, non-profit association founded in 1992 with currently 60 members (as of 2017). Only volunteers are involved in it. The LAF Berlin sees itself as a platform for the critical exchange of information and opinions. Its main purpose is to offer public events related to Latin America as part of Berlin's development and cultural policy education work, and it wants to contribute to better mutual understanding. Every year around 1,000 guests take part in up to 30 events - some of which are carried out with cooperation partners.
