The Latvian Hawks are an Irish ice hockey club from Dublin that was founded in 2007 and plays in the Irish Ice Hockey League .

history

The Latvian Hawks were founded in 2007 to mark the founding of the Irish Ice Hockey League , which they have been participating in ever since. The club aims to represent the large Latvian community in and around Dublin. Most of the team's squad consists of Latvian immigrants. Trainers and managers are also native Latvians.

The club's second team plays as "Latvian Hawks B" in the IIHL Developmental Division , a development league for the Irish Ice Hockey League. The club also has a partnership with the Blackhawks who also play there.

Stadion

The Latvian Hawks' home games are played at the Dundalk Ice Dome in Dundalk , which has a capacity of 1,200.
