The route card is a production document that is created as part of the production process control and accompanies a workpiece as it passes through several or one department , cost or auxiliary cost center of the company .

Nature of the ticket

The job ticket can take the form of an A4 - sheet have. The following features are included on the top of the ticket:

• clerk
• Order number
• Shipping method
• Customer number
• order number

At the end of the route card, the processor signs the route card with his abbreviation. The ticket processor marks the individual positions of the ticket with a tick . The processed route card triggers the printing of a delivery note and an invoice to the customer.
