Laura is a medium early, mainly waxy potato variety .

This type of potato is characterized by its red skin and its deep yellow flesh. Laura was approved in Austria in 1998 and forms oval tubers. The eyes are very flat to flat. It is insensitive to damage and is highly resistant to potato scab , leaf roll virus and potato viruses A and Y. She is susceptible to potato cancer and potato nematodes. It should be noted that some literature sources advise against the use of the herbicidal active ingredient metribuzin in both pre-emergence and post-emergence treatments.
