Lauren Potter
Lauren Elizabeth Potter (born 10 May 1990 in the Inland Empire is) an American actress for her role as Becky Jackson on the television series Glee the TV channel Fox was known. She speaks openly about her life with Down syndrome and advocates inclusion .
Life
Lauren Potter attended Riverside, California high school and then Irvine Valley College. She suffered multiple bullying in her childhood. Against this background, she is involved in anti-bullying campaigns by the organization Abilitypath , the Special Olympics , the Down Syndrome Association and the American Association of People with Disabilities . Lauren Potter has received several awards for her social commitment in this area. In November 2011, President Obama announced that he would appoint Lauren Potter to his Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities .
