Lauzados

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lauzados was an ancient and Byzantine city in the Isauria region of Asia Minor near today's Başyayla in Turkey.

The city was on a mountain and had an acropolis . Hardly anything has survived from the buildings from antiquity. The titular diocese of Lauzadus of the Roman Catholic Church goes back to a late antique diocese of the city .
