Lawrence Douglas
Lawrence R. Douglas is an American law scholar and Professor of Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought at Amherst College .
Life
He completed his education at Brown University , Columbia University and Yale Law School . He has been teaching at Amherst College since 2005. He is a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Human Rights Documentation Center .
The main focus of his scientific work is the didactic effect of trials against war criminals. Douglas has published numerous articles on this and gave presentations at congresses and conferences such as B. on the importance of the Nuremberg Trials. Douglas also wrote humorous literature with his colleague Alexander George.
