Lawrence Keppie

Lawrence John Forbes Keppie (born in Glasgow in the 20th century ) is a British ancient historian and Roman Provincial archaeologist .

Laurence Keppie studied from 1967 to 1969 when Andrew Robert Burns at the University of Glasgow and at the University of Oxford . At the University of Glasgow he was Professor of Roman History and Archeology and Curator of the Archaeological Department of the University's Hunterian Museum until his retirement .
