Jean-Michel Charlier wrote the crime story in which an American private detective encounters a mysterious sect while solving a kidnapping case. The 46-page story, subtitled L'ange de la mort , appeared in L'Echo des Savanes between 1985 and 1986 and was drawn by Al Coutelis . The album was released by Casterman in 2002.
