Le Siècle

Le Siècle was a daily newspaper that appeared in France from July 1, 1836 to June 28, 1932.

Le Siècle was founded as a newspaper that supported the constitutional monarchy . After the end of the July monarchy in 1848, however, the editorial position on republicanism changed . Le Siècle was against the rise of Napoleon III. set. The importance of the newspaper waned during the Third French Republic , until the publication was discontinued in 1932 due to insufficient readership.

At its peak in 1860, the newspaper had a circulation of over 52,000.
